This project is still in early development, so nothing is final yet - the vision may evolve as the game takes shape.
This video is a very early developer test. The final design, mechanics, and textures are still in progress and subject to change. It does not represent the finished version.
The current concept is a 2.5D pixel-art sci-fi thriller adventure. You play as a mechanic working on a colossal space elevator, with one clear goal: reach the top. The game will emphasize atmosphere, exploration, and narrative.
The game is currently in a very early proof-of-concept stage. Nothing is set in stone yet, and development is expected to take at least a year or two. I'll try to have the Steam store page up as soon as possible.
The game is being developed for PC, will be available on the Steam store, and will be Steam Deck compatible.
Key themes include:
The tone is inspired heavily by Soma, aiming for a similarly immersive and thought-provoking experience.
Gameplay mechanics will focus on:
There will be no shooting, and no combat of any kind. This is not an action game - it's an atmospheric adventure focused on mood, setting, and story.
I'm an indie game developer based in the heart of Europe. By day, I work full-time as a backend web developer and DevOps engineer - but in my free time, I dive into the world of game development. I'm a solo creator currently learning the ropes of the Godot game engine and Blender, building everything from scratch with a passion for gameplay, atmosphere, and storytelling. I started this journey with a small project called JumpMap - a first-person platformer that helped me learn the fundamentals and explore what's possible in game design. (The demo is still up if you're curious!)
Now, I'm working on something bigger: a more polished, narrative-driven experience built on everything I've learned so far - and a lot I'm still learning. It's early in development, but if you're into indie games, pixel art, sci-fi settings, or just want to follow a solo developer's journey, make sure to subscribe at the top - and tell your friends about it.
