Privacy Policy

The short version

ClusterDeck has no developer account, advertising, analytics, or tracking. It does not send kubeconfig credentials, Kubernetes resources, logs, or commands to Radiant Bear Games.

ClusterDeck is developed and published by Arnold Sallay under Radiant Bear Games. This policy explains how information is handled by the macOS app.

Data collected by Arnold Sallay / Radiant Bear Games

The app does not collect, receive, sell, rent, or share personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reports, kubeconfig contents, cluster resource data, logs, console commands, manifests, saved views, or operational history. ClusterDeck contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or AI SDKs.

Local app data

Preferences, favorites, recent-resource references, saved views, the last selected context and namespace, and an imported flattened kubeconfig are stored locally in the app’s private macOS container. The kubeconfig copy has owner-only file permissions and may contain credentials embedded from files you authorized. Radiant Bear Games cannot access this information. You can remove it by deleting the app and its container, subject to backups independently managed by you or Apple.

Kubeconfig files and Kubernetes connections

You authorize a folder containing the kubeconfig and every referenced certificate, key, or token file. ClusterDeck rejects references outside that folder and external credential commands, then its embedded kubectl creates a flattened private copy for local use. ClusterDeck connects directly from your Mac to Kubernetes API endpoints, authentication providers, and proxies configured by you. Each endpoint operator may process network addresses, credentials, commands, logs, resource data, and audit records under its own policies. Radiant Bear Games is not an intermediary and cannot access these transmissions.

In-app purchases

Optional monthly and yearly subscriptions and the permanent Pro unlock are purchased through Apple using StoreKit. The app reads Apple-signed transaction status to determine access. Apple processes payment, storefront, subscription, refund, and related account information under the Apple Privacy Policy. Radiant Bear Games does not receive payment card details.

Permissions and protected data

ClusterDeck does not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, Bluetooth, Health data, Home data, or App Tracking Transparency. Read-only file access occurs only when you authorize a kubeconfig folder through the macOS file picker. Network access is used for Apple StoreKit, user-requested links, direct connections to Kubernetes infrastructure configured by you, and localhost listeners created only when you request port forwarding.

Retention, deletion, and consent

Because the developer does not collect app data, there is no developer-held app database to retain or delete. Remove saved views inside the app and remove local app data by uninstalling ClusterDeck and deleting its container. Revoke cluster access by changing or removing credentials with your Kubernetes or identity provider. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple Account settings. Contact the relevant Kubernetes endpoint operator for deletion of its server-side audit or account records.

Children

ClusterDeck is a professional developer tool and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If a future release changes data handling, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that release is distributed.
