Setup and help
How do I start playing?
Open JumpMap, choose New Game, then choose a level. Use WASD or the arrow keys to move, the mouse to look, Space to jump, and Shift to run. Press Space again in the air to double jump.
Can I use a game controller?
Yes. Connect a compatible controller before or after launching the game. Use the left stick to move, the right stick to look, A to jump, and a trigger to run. Keyboard and mouse remain available.
Where are progress and settings stored?
The Mac App Store edition stores progress, personal best times, and settings inside the app's sandbox container on your Mac. It does not upload them to Radiant Bear Games.
How do I reset my records?
Open Options, choose Reset All Level Progress, and confirm the action. This removes local level records. It cannot be undone.
What should I try if performance is slow?
Open Options and choose a lower quality level or a lower frame limit. You can also disable bloom, chromatic aberration, head bob, or the FPS display. Keep macOS updated and close other graphics-heavy apps.
What should I do if the game does not open?
Restart the Mac, install current macOS updates, and try again. If the problem remains, send the crash time, Mac model, macOS version, and JumpMap version to the support email above.
Does the game need a login, sample file, or network connection?
No. JumpMap has no login and needs no sample file or network connection. All main features are available after launch.
