Troubleshooting and common questions

Why does Krealize download about 22.2 GB?

Generation runs on your Mac, so the Krea 2 Turbo Q8 checkpoint must be stored locally. Krealize asks before downloading, checks available storage, verifies required files, and can resume an incomplete download.

The model download failed or stopped. What should I do?

Check that your Mac has at least the storage shown in the setup window, confirm that Hugging Face is reachable on your network, then reopen Krealize and continue setup. A VPN, firewall, proxy, or managed network may block large Hugging Face downloads.

Why is generation slow?

Local diffusion is compute- and memory-intensive. Larger resolutions, multiple adapters, and memory pressure take longer. Close memory-heavy apps, try 512 × 512, remove unused adapters, or use PRO Fast mode. An 8 GB Mac uses a lower-memory staged workflow and will be substantially slower.

Where are generated images stored?

Krealize stores generations and metadata in its private Application Support folder. Use Gallery to browse them, Open Images Folder to reveal them, or Krealize PRO’s Save as PNG command to export a copy.

How do I reproduce an image?

Use a fixed seed and the same prompt, model, size, aspect ratio, mode, and adapters. In Gallery, select a generation and choose Reuse Settings. Results can still differ if the model or adapter files change.

Why was a prompt blocked?

Krealize applies a local, deterministic safety filter to categories prohibited by the Krea Acceptable Use Policy, including child sexual abuse, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive deepfakes, graphic violence, hate, and actionable serious harm.

How do I restore Krealize PRO?

Open Krealize Settings and choose Restore Purchases, or open any locked PRO feature and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original Mac App Store purchase.

How do I delete Krealize data?

Open Settings, find Data, and choose Delete All Data. After confirmation, Krealize deletes its settings, recent prompts, generated images and metadata, imported adapters and presets, and the downloaded model, then quits.
