Reptiloom
This policy describes the data practices of Reptiloom, an iPhone and iPad application developed and published by Arnold Sallay under the Radiant Bear Games name.
Information Reptiloom stores
Reptiloom stores information you choose to enter, such as animal names, species, scientific names, morphs, sex, dates, acquisition details, notes, feeding and shed history, weights, care schedules, enclosure information, breeding records, temperature and humidity readings, feeder inventory, health observations, medication records, veterinary details, and app preferences. Photos and documents are stored only when you select them through Apple’s system photo or file picker.
Local processing by default
Records are stored in Reptiloom’s private app container on your device by default. Core record keeping, charts, backups, and exports are processed on the device. Reptiloom does not send this information to Arnold Sallay or a Radiant Bear Games server.
Optional iCloud sync
If you subscribe to Reptiloom Pro and enable iCloud Sync, Apple syncs eligible Reptiloom records through the private CloudKit database associated with the Apple Account on your devices. Reptiloom does not require or create a separate developer account, and Arnold Sallay does not receive access to your private CloudKit records. Apple processes iCloud information under the Apple Privacy Policy.
You can stop future iCloud synchronization by turning off iCloud Sync in Reptiloom and reopening the app. Existing iCloud data is managed through the iCloud storage settings of your Apple Account.
Subscriptions and the App Store
Monthly and annual Reptiloom Pro subscriptions are offered through Apple’s StoreKit and App Store systems. Apple processes purchases, billing, subscription status, and transaction verification. Reptiloom receives only the entitlement information required to unlock Pro features; Arnold Sallay does not receive your payment card details.
Collection, analytics, advertising, and tracking
Reptiloom contains no advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, or App Tracking Transparency request. Arnold Sallay does not collect Reptiloom usage analytics, device identifiers, care records, photos, documents, precise location, contacts, or advertising data through the app. Reptiloom does not sell personal information.
Website analytics
The Reptiloom app does not contain analytics. Separately, these public website pages offer optional, consent-based Google Analytics under the Radiant Bear Games Website Privacy & Cookie Policy. Google Analytics remains disabled unless a website visitor explicitly accepts analytics cookies, and that choice can be withdrawn at any time through Cookie settings.
Photos, documents, backups, and exports
Apple’s system pickers let you choose individual photos or files. Reptiloom does not request broad photo-library access. Backups, PDF files, and CSV files are created only when you request an export. After the system share sheet opens, you control where the exported file is sent or saved. Exported files may contain sensitive animal, veterinary, contact, filename, or photo information that you entered; review them before sharing.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them in Reptiloom or uninstall the app. Deleting an animal deletes its related care schedules and records from the active data store. You can delete individual events and records in their respective views. If iCloud Sync was enabled, synchronized records may remain in your private iCloud storage until removed through Reptiloom and synchronized, or deleted through your Apple Account’s iCloud storage controls. Arnold Sallay cannot directly retrieve or erase data from a user’s private CloudKit database.
Support email
If you contact support, Arnold Sallay receives the email address and information you intentionally provide. Support correspondence is used only to answer the request, diagnose the reported issue, maintain necessary business records, and prevent abuse. Do not attach exported backups, photos, or health documents unless you want them reviewed. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing the address below, subject to legal record-retention requirements.
Data security and third parties
Reptiloom relies on Apple platform protections for the app container, system pickers, StoreKit, and optional iCloud sync. The app does not share your records with advertising, analytics, or data-broker partners. Apple is the only external platform used for purchases and optional cloud synchronization, and provides its own privacy and security protections.
Children
Reptiloom is a general-purpose husbandry record tool and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service.
Changes to this policy
If a future Reptiloom version changes its data practices or adds an online service, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
