Radiant CanvasRadiant Canvas is a local AI image generator for Apple silicon Macs, published by Arnold Sallay under Radiant Bear Games. This policy explains what stays on the Mac, when the app connects to other services, and how to remove local data.
Data collected by Radiant Bear Games
Radiant Canvas does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with Arnold Sallay or Radiant Bear Games. The app has no developer account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, remote prompt service, or developer-operated server.
Website analytics are separate
This policy describes the Radiant Canvas app. The radiantbeargames.com website offers optional Google Analytics cookies only after a visitor accepts them. Website analytics do not change what the app collects or sends. Read the separate website privacy and cookie policy for details or use Cookie settings on the website to change your choice.
Prompts and image generation
Prompts and image generation are processed locally by the model you select. Radiant Canvas supports Krea 2 Turbo INT4 ConvRot, Krea 2 Turbo Q8, Z-Image Turbo 8-bit, FLUX.2 Klein 4B 4-bit, ERNIE-Image Turbo 4-bit, and Microsoft Lens Turbo MLX 8-bit. The app does not upload prompts, results, seeds, settings, model inputs, or imported LoRAs to Radiant Bear Games, a model maker, a download host, or another image service.
Information stored on your Mac
Radiant Canvas can store app settings, up to 50 recent prompts, generated images, generation details, imported LoRA and LoKr adapters, adapter presets, and downloaded models in local app storage. The private gallery can search prompts and LoRA names and filter by model or image size.
If you choose to add generation details to a PNG, the file may contain the prompt, model, seed, steps, scheduler, guidance, image dimensions, Fast mode, adapters, creation time, generation time, and app version. You control exported files and files selected through normal macOS file windows.
Model downloads
Model files are not included in the App Store download. When you start a download, Radiant Canvas connects to a supported model host to retrieve the selected files. The host receives normal network information, such as your IP address and request details, under its own privacy policy. Prompts and generated images are not part of model download requests.
Downloads can resume, files are checked before installation, and the app may try another supported source when a source is unavailable. Krea 2 downloads require acceptance of the Krea 2 Community License and Acceptable Use Policy. Z-Image Turbo, FLUX.2 Klein, and ERNIE-Image Turbo use Apache License 2.0. Microsoft Lens Turbo uses MIT and Apache 2.0 components.
Apple services
If a PRO user turns on ML Enhance for an eligible image, Apple supplies an optional model on first use. Apple receives the network information needed for that download. The image is enhanced on the Mac and is not sent to Radiant Bear Games.
Radiant Canvas uses Apple StoreKit for monthly and yearly PRO subscriptions, lifetime PRO purchases, and purchase restoration. Apple handles Apple Account, payment, storefront, transaction, and related information under the Apple Privacy Policy. Radiant Canvas receives the purchase result needed to unlock PRO. Radiant Bear Games does not receive your card details or Apple Account password.
Notifications
If you allow completion notifications, macOS schedules them locally when a generation finishes. Notification content is not sent to Radiant Bear Games. Permission can be changed in macOS System Settings.
Offline use
Generation can work offline after the models you want are installed. An internet connection is still needed for new model downloads, the optional Apple enhancement model download, App Store purchases, and purchase restoration.
Support email
Radiant Canvas does not automatically send crash reports or diagnostics. If you email support, Arnold Sallay receives the address, message, and files you choose to send. Do not include private prompts or images unless you want them reviewed for support.
Retention and deletion
Local information stays on the Mac until you remove it. You can delete gallery images, clear prompt history, remove LoRAs, and uninstall models separately. Settings also includes Delete All Data, which removes local settings, prompts, images and metadata, adapters and presets, and downloaded models, then closes the app. Exported copies stored elsewhere must be deleted separately in Finder.
Children
Radiant Canvas does not knowingly collect personal data from children because it does not collect personal data from app users. It is a general creative tool and is not made specifically for children.
Security and responsible use
Local processing limits what leaves the Mac, but you are responsible for the security of your Mac and for the prompts, LoRAs, and images you create. The terms for each installed model also apply.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how data is handled or adds an online service, this page and the Mac App Store privacy details will be updated before that version is released.
