Model downloads and setup
How much space does each model need?
Krea 2 Turbo INT4 ConvRot is about 15.5 GB, Krea 2 Turbo Q8 is about 22.2 GB, Z-Image Turbo 8-bit is about 13.3 GB, FLUX.2 Klein 4B 4-bit is about 4.7 GB, ERNIE-Image Turbo 4-bit is about 6.7 GB, and Microsoft Lens Turbo MLX 8-bit is about 16.8 GB. Model Manager shows current storage and memory guidance before a download starts.
A model download stopped. What should I do?
Open Model Manager and continue the download. Downloads can resume and are checked before installation. Make sure the Mac has the free space shown in Model Manager. A VPN, firewall, proxy, or managed network may block large downloads. Radiant Canvas can try another supported source when one is unavailable.
Why do Krea 2 models show a license screen?
Krea 2 downloads require acceptance of the Krea 2 Community License and Acceptable Use Policy. Z-Image Turbo, FLUX.2 Klein, and ERNIE-Image Turbo use Apache License 2.0. Microsoft Lens Turbo uses MIT and Apache 2.0 components. These models do not show a separate agreement in the app.
Can I try the app before downloading a model?
Yes. Demo Mode lets you learn the Create screen and save sample generations before choosing a model.
Generation, speed, and LoRAs
Why is generation slower on my Mac?
Times depend on the Mac, available memory, model, image size, settings, and active LoRAs. Close apps that use a lot of memory, try a smaller image, remove adapters you do not need, or choose a smaller model. Krea 2 Fast mode is available with PRO.
Which model should I start with?
Try Microsoft Lens Turbo for fast four-step generation, or FLUX.2 Klein for a very fast result and the smallest download. Use Krea 2 Q8 when image quality matters most, Krea 2 INT4 for a balanced option, Z-Image for realistic images and clear text, or ERNIE for detailed layouts and text in several languages.
Why will a LoRA not load?
LoRAs are tied to a model family. Check that the adapter matches the active model. Radiant Canvas keeps separate presets for each family so an adapter is not used with the wrong model. Custom LoRA and LoKr support is a PRO feature.
How do I make the same image again?
Use the same model, prompt, seed, size, settings, and LoRAs. In Gallery, select an earlier image and choose Reuse Settings. A result may still change if a model or adapter file has changed.
Can I send my benchmark?
Yes. Email [email protected] with your Mac model, unified memory, selected model, image size, mode, active LoRAs, and generation time.
Gallery, data, and purchases
Where are my images stored?
Radiant Canvas keeps generations and their details in private app storage on your Mac. Use Gallery to browse them. PRO can export PNG files and open the images folder directly.
How do I restore PRO?
Open Radiant Canvas Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that bought the lifetime unlock or started the subscription. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime choices all unlock the same PRO features.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open your App Store account settings and manage subscriptions there. Apple handles billing. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
How do I delete Radiant Canvas data?
Open Settings and choose Delete All Data. After confirmation, Radiant Canvas removes its local settings, recent prompts, generated images and metadata, imported adapters and presets, and downloaded models, then quits. Exported copies in other folders must be deleted separately in Finder.
