FLUX.2 Klein is a practical first download because it takes less drive space than the other available models. It also produced the shortest time in the current test. That makes it useful for learning how prompts, seeds, and image sizes affect a result without waiting as long between attempts.
Speed is most useful during the rough stage of an idea. You can try a different camera angle, remove an unwanted object, or change the time of day and see the next version quickly. When a prompt is working, save the image or reuse its settings so you have a clear point to return to.
The fastest model is not always the best match for a particular image. Fine text, a highly detailed layout, or a realistic face may work better with another option. Start with FLUX.2 Klein when quick feedback matters, then compare a promising prompt with Z-Image, Krea 2, or ERNIE-Image if something still feels wrong.
