Who we are

What we collect
Your email address and the date you signed up. We do not ask for your name or any other details.
What we use it for
We use your address to send you one email when NovelStage is available. We do not send newsletters, offers or other messages to this list.
We do this because you asked us to. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who handles it
We store your address and send the email with EmailOctopus, which is run by Three Hearts Digital Ltd in the United Kingdom. EmailOctopus processes the address for us and may use service providers outside the UK and the EU, including in the United States. It may also keep technical details about the signup and the email. Its privacy policy describes this and the safeguards it uses for transfers.
The signup form is hosted by EmailOctopus and uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, so Google receives technical information from your browser when you use the form. See the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not give your address to anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your address until the launch email has been sent, then delete it from the list. If you unsubscribe first, we stop using it right away. EmailOctopus may keep a record of an unsubscribed address so it is not emailed again, and for its legal records.
Unsubscribing and your rights
To leave the list before launch, email [email protected]. The launch email also has an unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) give you rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or delete it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how the launch email works, we will update this page before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top shows the latest change.
